Editorial Independence

Vallensis Publishing affirms that editorial decisions at all its journals are made solely on the basis of scientific merit, scope, and ethical standards.

Commercial considerations — including advertising, reprint sales, or APC income — have no influence on editorial decisions. The Editor-in-Chief of each journal has full and final authority over editorial decisions, and the publisher does not interfere with editorial decisions.

The journals carry no advertising and sell no reprints. Article-processing charges (waived during the founding phase) are the only source of revenue. Vallensis Publishing is an independently owned open-access publisher based in Switzerland.
